A big thank you to all our customers who purchased from us at the Enchanted Gift Shop this month – and as promised, from Easter 2008 we are donating 1% of our sales to the National Animal Welfare Trust.
This 10 day period generated a £6.17 donation to the charity, and you can go see that we have given it to them by checking out our charity page over at Just Giving.
It’s only a small amount but it all helps towards our goal of giving a £500 donation to the charity within 12 months.
As you’ll see I made a little donation myself to kick start the campaign! :o)

Raising money for the National Animal Welfare Trust March 25, 2008

Over at the Enchanted Gift Shop we try to do everything we can for the environment and the animals that inhabit it – and we believe one way of doing this is giving to charities that look after animals.
As of this Easter Holiday 2008 we are now giving 1% of the value of all orders that we receive to the National Animal Welfare Trust – which we believe is as worthy as any animal charity doing their bit to look after the animals that are neglected in the UK.
You don’t have to do anything other then make your normal purchase, and it doesn’t cost you a penny — once a month we’ll tot up the order totals and give 1% of this total to the charity.
Our aim is to raise a humble £500 within the next 12 months — and even if you do not want to make a purchase through us, you can still donate to the charity through our fundraising page here … we’ve teamed up with the website ‘justgiving’ who offer a very clever service of being able to donate to charities online.
