Whilst I’ve been working on the gift vouchers (unsuccessfully I might add!) Christina has been sourcing more Skin Care products, and she’s come up with another great UK supplier.

This time we’ve added a company called Organic Botanics to our Organic Skin Care range.

They are an ethical company which was established nine years ago by herbalist Celsi Richfield.

The plant oils used in their products are certified organic by the Soil Association and also approved by the Vegan Society and Vegetarian Society. The ingredients are cool-pressed & unrefined to retain their full complement of valuable nutrients & vitamins and the products are supplied in recycleable Green and Amber glass bottles.

We’ve not used any as yet, but we will be soon, so expect a product review to follow!

Yesterday it was around 14-16c and sunny all day, it was lovely and warm, hardly any wind and it felt like spring was finally here and we could look forward to a nice hot summer.

Today … less than 24hrs after yesterdays lovely warm day, it’s 6c outside and it’s been cloudy and drizzling all day … then about 20 minutes ago it started absolutely pouring down with hale, quite big bits of hail too (for around here!) … and it’s even more cold now then it was earlier.

Whats going on with this weather?

Certainly makes you want to stay in all day and work on the website … so that’s what I’ve been doing, can you tell with the amount of blog posts today, haha!

I’m sorry to say that due to technical issues we’re not going to be able to offer gift vouchers for the foreseeable future.

It’s something that is going to take alot more work than I first thought, and we’ve got alot of other things on the go at the moment that need more of my attention.

Sorry to those that requested them, but don’t fret, it’s not that we’re never going to do them, just not yet!

Unless you’ve been hidden under a stone for the last few weeks, you’ll probably have heard of the food price problems worldwide, and most recently of the ever rising price of oil.

The head of the UN World Food Programme made the statement “A silent tsunami which knows no borders is sweeping the world” when she was asked about the global food shortages.

Interesting statement, but not one I believe is related to the food price rises or oil price rises. Nor infact do I believe anything that the UN or anyone else in power says about the food and oil crisis, I firmly believe it’s all a manufactured con result of over consumption. Sure we probably are running close to the end of oil, but they’ve known about it for long enough, so why haven’t they done something about it??

It is simple after all, come up with an alternative form of energy … theres plenty of options out there…

So why haven’t they come up with something else? … greed and control thats why …. I’m not going to go into details as this blog isn’t really the place for it.

Also, thinking about population levels around the world, again unless you’ve been under a stone, you will probably have read at some point that the worlds population levels are unsustainably high …. so what are the people in power doing about it?

Hmmmmm …. let me see …. manufacturing ever rising food prices, rising oil prices due to it running out various different problems, increasing levels of diseases in poorer countries resulting in more deaths.

Those people in poorer countries are the least able to retaliate against the people in power …. hmmmm, I wonder why there’s never anything as bad that happens in the poorer countries happening over here in the more developed countries …. oh right, it’s not because we’re more educated about whats going on, more capable of retaliating, got access to more weapons …. it’s to do with because we’ve got better facilities … riiight, thats it…

Ahwell, if someone’s gotta die to decrease the worlds population so we can all become more sustainable … why not those people in far off countries … right?!

We’ve been able to add even more pendants to our vast range, and it enables us to continue to offer one of the largest ranges of pendants online in Europe!

This new range comes from the same supplier as the Power Pendant range, but I think this new collection is even more beautiful, and I’ve just brought myself a couple of pendants already!

The new collection is called Greenwood and is an enchanted, elegant collection I think.
